While it didn't come in a box as shown - it came in just a plastic bag - it does very well at charging her DSiXL.I'm overseas and my store is extremely limited as to what they have available to buy. Well my son left his charger on the plane and we couldn't find a replacement anywhere. This adapter was cheap and works great!! I have since labeled it so if he takes it to a friends we don't lose it again. Kids and technology, can't live with it or can't live without it.However, it was essentially the same product and was still able to charge my son's dsi cable. While it does charge my son's DS it does seem like it is made of a poor quality material and may break or short out over time if you are not careful with it. However, considering it's price it is reasonable for me to take that risk seeing as my son will most likely damage it anyway overtime (He's 4). So for me, I am willing to sacrifice a bit of quality for a cheaper overall cost.The DS charger cords seem very fragile and they break constantly. These are very greatly priced and seem to be holding up really well. I lost the charger to my grandson's dsi battery, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get a replacement, which was cheap and was delivered in two days.Anytime you spend less than $5 on something electronic you always worry that it won't work. Well this review is to tell you that it arrived in good condition and worked fine.
